Thank you for your interest in joining the Civil Air Patrol!

Are you a licensed pilot?
Do you like helping young people?
Want to help others after a disaster?
Do you have a interest in aerospace innovation and technology?
Do you want to help with homeland security?
Do you like to volunteer?

If you answered YES to any of those questions, then the Civil Air Patrol just might be the place for you.

The first step towards becoming a member of the CAP is to visit a squadron meeting in your area. This will give you the opportunity to see if that squadron is right for you.

Once you have decided to join a squadron, let the commander know. He or she will assist you with any questions you have. The squadron administrative officer will provide you with a new member packet. The packet will include an application, a fingerprint card (required for all adult members), an application checklist and some general CAP information.
